We are working on behalf of a well-established, independent planning consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused planning advice across the Midlands and wider UK.

The practice works on a diverse portfolio of residential, mixed-use and commercial developments and is known for its collaborative culture, high-quality work, and long-standing client relationships. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Town Planner with 2+ years’ professional experience to join their Telford office.

The Role:

• Managing and supporting planning applications across a range of development types
• Preparing planning statements, supporting documentation and appeal submissions
• Liaising with local authorities, consultants and clients
• Assisting senior planners on larger and more complex schemes
• Attending client and stakeholder meetings

About You:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a consultancy or local authority planning role
• Solid understanding of the UK planning system
• Experience preparing or supporting planning applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• MRTPI or working towards chartership preferred (not essential)
