London with some national visits - Hybrid working

Up to £55,000 + Car/Car allowance, Pension, Health, Training


The Opportunity

We are currently in search of a Health, Safety, Wellbeing, and Sustainability Advisor to work alongside Health and Safety Managers in providing top-notch health and safety services to clients working on some transformational infrastructure projects.

How you will deliver

  • Ensure that the requirements of the IMS are being applied on site and administrative offices
  • Support of the company’s management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001 OHSAS 45001
  • Assist in implementation in the company’s Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental management processes.
  • Contribute to the DSG Behavioural Programme by driving change in culture and behaviours
  • Promote a culture of Health, Safety and Wellbeing across all our projects and work with our client to align values 
  • Act as a focal point to employees on matters of Health Safety, Wellbeing and Sustainability.
  • Identify and communicate changes in legislation, regulation, and industry standards by obtaining and regularly reviewing updates and taking appropriate action.
  • Contribute with preparation of HSWS strategies and developing internal policy.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, supply chain partners and key stakeholders, meeting needs and collaborating on performance and initiatives across contracts.
  • Work with the H&S and Training department to assist with implementation of the Learner Management System and feedback any opportunities for bespoke internal courses.
  • Assist the HSQE Team in preparation of and undertaking of audits, both clients and accredited, as and when required.
  • Ensure a consistent engagement with our nationwide workforce, embedding our values and DSG culture to promote engagement and two-way feedback.


Your skills and experience

  • Level 3 Health and Safety Qualification
  • TECH IOSH Working towards Grad IOSH
  • Mental Health First Aid Trainer
  • Train the trainer for required training deliverables
  • Experience of Civils construction environment
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Customer/client orientated outlook
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to travel
  • PTS, CSCS minimum
