This opportunity is ideal for a security-focused technical professional who enjoys working in a client-facing capacity, supporting sales teams, and designing modern cybersecurity solutions within an MSP or IT reseller environment.

The Role: Security Solutions Architect

As a Security Solutions Architect, you will join an established Solutions Engineering team, delivering high-quality technical pre-sales support across the organisation’s security portfolio.

This is a highly customer-facing role, requiring engagement with both prospective and existing clients. You will work closely with organisations to understand their security challenges, translating complex technical concepts into clear, commercially aligned solutions.

Partnering with the sales team, you will support opportunity qualification, solution design, and the creation of compelling proposals and tender responses. You will also represent the business at customer meetings, workshops, product demonstrations, and webinars — positioning the organisation as a trusted cybersecurity advisor.

Key Responsibilities: Security Solutions Architect

• Deliver high-quality technical pre-sales services (chargeable and non-chargeable)
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales lifecycle
• Support discovery sessions and opportunity qualification with the sales team
• Deliver engaging product demonstrations at meetings, events, and webinars
• Design and execute tailored Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements
• Evaluate and compare security technologies to recommend best-fit solutions
• Contribute to solution architecture and produce proposals, scopes of work, and tender responses

Skills & Experience: Security Solutions Architect

Essential: Security Solutions Architect

• Experience in technical consultancy, pre-sales, or customer-facing project delivery within an MSP or IT reseller
• Strong IT infrastructure background with a focus on cybersecurity
• Proven ability to produce high-quality customer-facing documentation
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to align technical solutions to business outcomes
• Excellent presentation, communication, and demonstration skills
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
• Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• UK-based with flexibility to travel as required
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK

Desirable: Security Solutions Architect

• Certifications and/or experience with vendors such as Sophos, Fortinet, N-able, Mimecast, Barracuda, Microsoft, or similar
• Experience delivering webinars, workshops, or customer-facing events
• Strong understanding of modern cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Experience contributing to technical thought leadership or security-related content
