Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services)

Leamington Spa (Hybrid)

An established building services consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a hybrid working basis, based out of their Leamington Spa office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineer to take on a senior, technically-led role, working across a varied portfolio of building services projects and playing a key part in the design and delivery process from concept through to completion.

The Role:

• Leading mechanical design across a range of building services projects, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Producing and reviewing detailed mechanical designs, calculations, and specifications
• Acting as a senior technical point of contact for clients and project teams
• Mentoring and supporting the development of junior engineers within the team
• Coordinating with architects, electrical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure fully integrated designs
• Ensuring designs comply with current building regulations and industry standards

What's Required:

• A degree in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
• Significant experience in mechanical building services design at a senior level
• Strong working knowledge of relevant design software (e.g. Revit, AutoCAD, IES, Hevacomp)
• Chartered status (or working towards, e.g. CIBSE) preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
