Our client is a leading company in the industrial minerals sector with a presence across Europe, recognized for its innovation, operational excellence, and collaborative culture.

They are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist who is organized, proactive, and detail-oriented. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable for key markets, as well as supporting other markets when needed. The position involves direct interaction with clients, handling collections, resolving payment issues, and maintaining accurate financial records, contributing to the success of the Finance team.

Key Languages:

  • Native or full professional level of Czech, Slovak and/or Hungarian
  • Professional level of English (B2)


Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts receivable by applying incoming payments to invoices and resolving underpayments or overpayments
  • Address and resolve customer queries or payment issues, maintaining strong relationships and credibility with clients and internal teams
  • Proactively handle collections for a portfolio of customers, following company policies and procedures
  • Ensure proper financial controls are in place for collections and manage account reconciliations as needed
  • Support accounting closings and contribute to maintaining accurate financial records
  • Assist with insolvency cases in line with company policies
  • Collaborate with other markets and teams as needed, providing flexibility and support across the Finance department


Core Skills/experience:

  • 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance, or Collections
  • Fluent in Czech and Slovak (Hungarian is a plus) and English (B2 minimum)
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Salesforce) is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and collaborate within a team
