About the role
This is a unique opportunity to be a Support Worker / Carer to one special person. Unlike other Support Worker / Carer roles, all aspects of this role have been designed with the individual in mind as well as you as their professional Support Worker.
We need a special person to build a relationship based upon trust and care with one individual. From the new home that they live in through to mixing and meeting the community, you will be by their side as they plot their new path. If you have previously worked as a Care Assistant, Care Giver, Homecare/Domiciliary Worker or Community Support Worker we’d like to hear from you, however, as we provide full training, we also welcome applications from candidates who have no previous experience.
About You
Duties
As our Support Worker, you will work directly with one individual, in their new home and in the community. You will help them to live their most independent life over time, and support them in a number of ways. This could be as simple as daily routines or accompanying them to do shopping or leisure activities like the cinema through to money management and booking appointments. You will record progress and use good judgment to aid the rehabilitation, and you will undergo specialist training to help you. You will provide professional support and friendship, and make the difference to an individuals quality of life.
If this sounds like you, and you want a rewarding job in a truly unique environment we can offer you a great package.
