We are working with an Oldham-based business to recruit an HR Assistant. Working alongside the Director of HR and the HR Manager, you will be liaising with members of the business at all levels and with external contacts and suppliers.

Key role responsibilities:

As the first point of contact for colleagues and clients, you will be instrumental in creating good working relations with people at all levels within the business. Ideally, you will have had experience working as an HR Assistant within a fast-moving environment and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Managing the onboarding, offboarding and appraisal processes from an administrative perspective.
  • Assisting the HR team with projects and initiatives.
  • Recruitment and benchmarking.
  • Rewards and benefits.
  • Maintenance of the HR database.

Experience, knowledge and skills required for this HR Assistant role:

  • Previous experience in a similar role using HR Information Systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Ability to communicate at different levels.
  • Excellent IT skills and attention to detail.
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards it).

Your contract and benefits on starting:

  • Salary from £24500 DOE.
  • 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday.
  • 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays.
