Aztrum is thrilled to be partnering with a progressive, award-winning architectural practice located in Oxford. My client is looking to appoint a skilled and driven Part 2 Architectural Assistant to support the design and technical progression of Heritage-led projects throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:

  • Assist in the design and delivery of Heritage focussed projects. 
  • Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive planning application packages.
  • Develop innovative and contextually responsive design solutions aligned with client objectives.
  • Produce high-quality drawings, layouts, and visuals to clearly convey design concepts.
  • Collaborate with architects and planning consultants to ensure timely project delivery.

Key Requirements for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:

  • RIBA Part 2 qualification or equivalent degree in Architecture.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ UK-based architectural experience, preferably in residential or masterplanning contexts.
  • Prior experience on Heritage projects.
  • Comfortable communicating with planning authorities and private sector clients.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of UK planning frameworks and building regulations.
  • Excellent visual presentation, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A collaborative designer with a passion for placemaking and a strong, design-led portfolio.
