KG Direct Hire are pleased to be supporting a north Norfolk eating establishment with the recruitment of a full time Pastry Chef to join their busy team. This successful cafe is a thriving establishment, with a committed team who continue to push its excellent reputation forward.

We are looking for talented Pastry Chef to join our bakery and café kitchen, someone who wants to enhance their career in catering, who is going to bring energy and enthusiasm to the role, learning to produce great quality pastry products.

We are committed to providing support and guidance from passionate and experienced owner and team. The successful Pastry chef must have previous experience. 

Duties will include; 

• Running a busy section on a daily basis
• Be able to work independently, producing bakery goods (pastries, cakes, cookies, breads) consistently to a high standard
• Must have previous experience in a high-volume establishment
• Running the pastry section on a daily basis
• Assisting with the management of health and safety
• Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
• Monitoring portion and waste control
• Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standard
