- fulltime
- Sale, M33 7UZ
- £28,000 to £28,000 Annum
We're looking for a Insurance Helpdesk Advisor to join our clients team that support financial advisers across a growing network.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and learning new things.
You'll be supporting advisers with protection-related queries, helping them navigate products, providers and processes while delivering a high level of service.
You do not need previous experience within protection products as full training and the opportunity to work towards recognised qualifications will be provided.
The Role
- Provide support to financial advisers across the network
- Respond to queries around protection products, providers and quotation systems
- Support advisers with underwriting, new business and existing policy queries
- Help advisers navigate protection research tools and processes
- Handle queries and objections confidently while maintaining a focus on good customer outcomes
- Identify opportunities to support advisers and increase protection activity
- Keep up to date with developments across the protection market
- What we're looking for
We're more interested in your approach and customer service skills than having a specific financial services background.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience in customer service, account management, sales support, administration or a similar role
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive approach to problem solving
- The confidence to ask questions, challenge where appropriate and make suggestions
- A commercially aware mindset with an interest in identifying opportunities
- The ability to learn technical information and apply it confidently
- A genuine interest in developing a career within financial services
Financial services, insurance, protection or mortgage experience would be advantageous but isn't essential.
Training & Qualifications
No financial services qualifications are required to apply.
The business will provide full training and fund relevant professional qualifications as you develop within the role.
This could include CII qualifications covering protection, insurance and financial services, with CeMAP available if you progress towards the mortgage side of the business.
You'll have the opportunity to build your technical knowledge while gaining hands-on experience supporting financial advisers.
What's on offer?
- Full training from experienced financial services professionals
- Company-funded professional qualifications
- CII and CeMAP study opportunities
- Clear development opportunities within financial services
- Exposure to both protection and mortgage markets
- Supportive team environment
- Opportunity to work closely with experienced advisers
- A role combining customer service, technical knowledge and commercial awareness
- 3 days a week working from home, 2 days from the Sale office (M33)
You don't need to tick every box. If you've got strong customer service skills, a good attitude and the desire to learn, we'd be interested in speaking with you.
