Role Overview:
The Business Development Specialist will collaborate across business development, marketing, and communications teams, directly influencing the firm’s client engagement and strategic growth in the litigation sector. Key responsibilities include developing and executing business development plans, supporting client acquisition efforts, and coordinating high-impact marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Shape and manage strategic growth initiatives, collaborating with internal teams to set actionable goals and timelines.
  • Client Communication: Develop tailored pitches, proposals, and external communication that effectively highlight the firm’s strengths and expertise in litigation.
  • Campaign & Event Management: Lead content-driven campaigns and oversee events like seminars and webinars that attract high-value clients and showcase the practice’s expertise.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with PR, digital marketing, and other channels to support BD efforts, and work closely with practice leaders on budget management.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth competitive analysis and client research, leveraging various CRM tools and research platforms to support pitches and business decisions.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or marketing, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong project management, communication, and research skills, with proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in client relationship management and market analysis.
