About the Role

A well-established construction business is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is a genuine opportunity for you to make a real impact across diverse projects in education, healthcare, residential, and commercial sectors. What You’ll Do

• Lead cost management, reporting, and forecasting for multiple projects
• Oversee contract administration, tendering, and procurement
• Identify and manage commercial risks, supporting value engineering
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team culture
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures

What They’re Looking For

• 5–8 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within main contracting
• Strong commercial acumen and confident communication skills
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and represent the business professionally
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
• Proficiency in industry-standard software and IT systems
• Industry-recognised construction-related qualifications
• Experience with JCT and NEC contracts (essential)
• Design and build experience (desirable but not essential)
• Drive, enthusiasm, and a commitment to continuous improvement
