Sales Development Representative - IT Sales
Location: Uxbridge
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + commission + benefits
Type: Full-time, office-based/hybrid
Aztrum is working with a growing IT solutions provider in the Uxbridge area that is looking to add a driven Sales Development Representative to its commercial team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident on the phone, commercially minded, and looking to build a long-term career in IT sales. You’ll be joining a supportive team where you’ll receive training, guidance, and the chance to progress into account management, business development, or more senior sales roles over time.
The Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities and supporting the wider sales team with prospecting activity. This is a key front-end sales role, focused on identifying potential clients, opening conversations, and booking qualified meetings.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll be involved in:
- Researching and identifying potential new business opportunities across target markets
- Making outbound calls, sending emails, and using LinkedIn to engage with prospects
- Qualifying leads and understanding potential client requirements
- Booking meetings and appointments for senior sales colleagues
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective customers
- Updating the CRM with accurate notes, activity, and follow-up actions
- Working closely with account managers and business development managers to support sales campaigns
- Learning about IT services, managed services, cloud solutions, cyber security, and wider technology offerings
- Representing the business professionally and creating a positive first impression with potential clients
The Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience in sales, telesales, lead generation, recruitment, customer service, or a similar target-driven role
- A confident telephone manner and strong communication skills
- A proactive, resilient, and motivated approach
- The ability to build rapport quickly with prospects
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- An interest in technology, IT services, or B2B sales
- A desire to progress within a commercial sales environment
Previous IT sales experience would be beneficial, but it isn’t essential if you have the right attitude, confidence, and willingness to learn.
