The Role

This is a position suited to an experienced Mechanical Engineer who can take ownership of project delivery, provide technical leadership, and support the development of both clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design and delivery of mechanical building services across residential projects
• Overseeing projects from concept through to detailed design and construction stages
• Producing and reviewing calculations, specifications, and technical documentation
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, and other consultants
• Driving sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard

The Ideal Candidate

• Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (or similar)
• Minimum 8 years’ experience within a building services consultancy
• Strong background in residential project delivery
• Proven experience in leading projects and managing clients
• Excellent understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical design principles
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple projects
