TRIP are looking for a permanent, full-time (39 hours) In House Consultant to join a long established privately owned flooring specialist in Jersey.

Your duties and responsibilities will be:

Your role will be to visit customers in their homes, measure up and help them pick the right flooring as they look to transform their home.  If you like variety, autonomy and meeting new people every day, this is the role for you!  (No previous measuring experience is necessary).

You will be engaging directly with customers in their homes, interacting with them and helping them make their decisions with a key focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience. 

You will predominately be field based but will also be part of a fantastic team, working closely with the store advisors and management team to support the sales process.

• The ability to build rapport quickly and effectively

The client will teach you about their products and services (and how to measure!) and provide you with market leading training to help get you up and running.  

It is likely that you will come from a background that involves working outside of the usual workplace (in a customers’ home) and you will be comfortable working in a target focused environment.

Essential Criteria

• A driving licence (you will have full use of a company vehicle)
• Willingness to be mobile and happy to travel to customers’ homes
• An obsession for attention to detail
• Comfortable with autonomy
• A flexible approach to working hours across the week, including weekends and evenings
• The ability to adapt to working in different environments
• Self-motivated with the ability to use your own initiative

Basic salary guaranteed for the first 12 months at £28,000 then £19,266.   Genuine OTE £28-£42k
