Regional Director - Asset Finance or Working Capital

Our client is looking for an experienced regional director specialising in Asset Finance or Working Capital to join their dynamic sales team. The primary role is to actively seek, cultivate, and convert new business opportunities in line with company expectations and your personal targets. Ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered to prospects, introducers, internal, and external customers is a fundamental part of this role. You will also be responsible for maximising business opportunities through best practices and maintaining high standards in sales, customer service, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities from various sources, converting new deals across our full suite of products.
  • Foster and maintain professional relationships with various sources, including accountants, commercial finance advisors, brokers, solicitors, etc. You will be the primary contact for new business in your designated region.
  • Manage and advance all new business inquiries through our CRM system. Prepare and submit new business files to the credit committee, ensuring compliance with our credit policy and the inclusion of all necessary information for quick and accurate assessment by the underwriters.
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure a smooth transition of prospects to clients.
  • Keep introducer records up to date and ensure proper recording and progression of prospect inquiries.
  • Contribute innovative ideas at regional sales meetings to support ongoing development.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the asset-based finance industry, including all our products and services.
  • Achieve minimum sales targets (income) while maintaining acceptable and high-quality new business standards.
  • Maintain a professional representation of the company and uphold our high standards in all aspects.
  • Perform other necessary duties to facilitate deals.
