About the role

As a Dental Receptionist, you will be an important part of the patient journey, providing a warm and professional welcome from the moment patients arrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service
• Managing patient appointments and the practice diary
• Answering telephone calls and dealing with patient enquiries
• Taking payments and managing reception administration
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Liaising with dentists, nurses and the wider practice team
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
• Helping patients feel comfortable and well looked after throughout their visit

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable and confident
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• A strong communicator with a professional manner
• Comfortable working as part of a busy team
• Patient-focused and committed to delivering excellent service
• Ideally experienced within a dental practice, although strong reception/customer service experience will also be considered
