A highly regarded, independent multidisciplinary environmental consultancy is seeking a skilled Air Quality Consultant to join their dynamic team. This is a fully remote role offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK while contributing to impactful, multi-disciplinary projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

As an Air Quality Consultant, your duties will include:

  • Conducting air quality and odour assessments for planning and permitting purposes
  • Designing and undertaking atmospheric dispersion modelling (e.g., ADMS-Roads, ADMS-5)
  • Preparing technical reports and Environmental Statement chapters
  • Liaising with clients, local authorities, and regulatory bodies
  • Supporting business development activities and contributing to proposals
  • Staying up-to-date with relevant guidance, legislation, and modelling techniques

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in air quality consultancy (ideally 2+ years)
  • Proficiency with air dispersion modelling tools (e.g., ADMS, AERMOD)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence working independently and remotely
  • A proactive approach to project management and client interaction

Membership of IAQM or a similar professional body is desirable but not essential.
