Senior Quantity Surveyor - Groundworks

Location: Dunstable | Office-based (Hybrid considered)
Salary: Competitive (£55k–£75k DOE) + Car/Allowance + Fuel Card

We’re recruiting for a leading groundworks contractor with a secured pipeline of £50m and further major projects about to land. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior role where your commercial expertise will directly influence growth and profitability.

The Role

• Manage all commercial aspects of groundworks projects from tender through to final account.
• Prepare and negotiate valuations, variations, and subcontractor accounts.
• Ensure accurate cost control and reporting to maintain healthy margins.
• Work closely with project teams to deliver on time and within budget.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in groundworks/civils (senior level preferred).
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management.
• Ability to lead on multiple projects and mentor junior QS team members.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
