A leading, employee-owned planning-led consultancy is seeking a Transport Planner or Senior Transport Planner to join its growing Transport & Infrastructure team in Bristol.

With continued expansion across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated transport professional to take on varied, high-quality projects while developing their technical expertise and client-facing experience within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a busy Bristol-based team delivering transport planning, traffic engineering and infrastructure design services to support development proposals nationwide.

Working under the guidance of senior staff, responsibilities will include:

• Preparing Transport Assessments and Travel Plans
• Supporting development proposals from early planning through to delivery
• Managing and prioritising projects on a day-to-day basis
• Developing strong client relationships
• Contributing to high technical standards across the team

Candidate Requirements

• Ideally 1+ years’ experience in a transport planning role
• A solid understanding of transport planning principles and development-led projects
• Experience preparing Transport Assessments and Travel Plans
• Working knowledge of ARCADY, PICADY, TRICS, AutoCAD and Excel
• Strong written, verbal and technical communication skills
• Good interpersonal and relationship management abilities
• Self-motivated, organised and eager to contribute to a growing team
