My Client, a market leading Hydrology and Hydrogeological Consultancy, based in Oxfordshire is searching for an Environmental Permitting Consultant to join their team. 

Candidates are required to have an academic background in Geology, Geography or Environmental Management and experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing environmental permitting, environmental regulation and environmental consents.  

Report writing experience and experience completing permitting for Quarries and Landfill sites.  

A good understanding of environmental legislation and environmental policies covered by The Environment Agencies and Government Bodies.  

You will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis and a driving licence is required to attend site visits across the region.  

As an Environmental Permitting Consultant, you will join a specialist team based in Oxfordshire.  You will be required to complete; 

-Environmental permit applications. 

-Environmental permits for landfill, waste management, quarries and mineral extraction. 

-Environmental planning support for mineral extraction and quarrying. 

-Environmental monitoring and compliance. 

-Water abstraction licencing and discharge consents.  

This role offers hybrid working and site visits to quarries and landfill sites across the region.
