Senior Architectural Technician – Managing Projects on Site

Aztrum is excited to be partnering with a leading architectural practice in the Coventry area, renowned for delivering outstanding Residential projects. They are now seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to take a pivotal role in managing projects on site, coordinating seamlessly with consultants, contractors, and project teams, and ensuring every scheme is delivered to the highest standard. 

Key Responsibilities for this Senior Architectural Technician role:

• Lead the production of detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction packages using Revit and AutoCAD

• Manage projects throughout the construction phase, conducting regular site visits to review progress, solve technical challenges, and ensure compliance with design intent and building regulations

• Take ownership of consultant coordination, collaborating closely with structural, MEP, and specialist teams to deliver fully integrated technical solutions

• Provide senior-level technical guidance, supporting architects and junior technicians to maintain exceptional quality, accuracy, and efficiency across all project stages

• Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, driving projects forward and ensuring smooth, proactive communication throughout the lifecycle of each scheme

Qualifications required for this Senior Architectural Technician role:

• Strong proficiency in Revit

• Comprehensive understanding of UK building regulations, construction methodologies, and technical standards

• Proven experience managing projects on site and working effectively with multidisciplinary consultants

• Exceptional technical design, detailing, and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous eye for accuracy
