  • Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams
  • Supporting more junior colleagues and designers as your experience grows
  • Liaising with clients, architects and other members of the external design team
  • Presenting technical solutions clearly to project stakeholders, with support as you develop
  • Building strong professional relationships with clients and project partners

About you

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Up to around three years’ experience in a building services consultancy, although graduates with relevant placement or internship experience are welcome
  • Working towards, or keen to start working towards, professional accreditation with CIBSE, IET or equivalent
  • A good grounding in electrical design principles and an interest in multidisciplinary project environments
  • Experience with, or exposure to, CAD and Revit, with knowledge of Bluebeam and design software such as IES, Amtech, Dialux or Relux being an advantage
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical reports
  • Good interpersonal skills and the confidence to work with clients and design teams
  • The ability to manage your workload across more than one project
  • A willingness to learn, take on feedback and work both independently and as part of a team

What’s on offer

  • A competitive salary of £30,000 to £45,000 per annum
  • Pension with an 8% company contribution
  • 25 days’ paid annual leave
  • Optional private healthcare insurance
  • Death in service insurance
  • Payment of one professional membership subscription
