Job Summary:

Our Client is a single entry point to every marketplace, enabling simple and seamless omni-channel selling for any seller and any product. By syncing up orders and listings across multiple marketplaces like Ebay, Depop, Shopify & more, sellers can get more sales and discover new revenue streams. To do this they leverage AI tools for listing generation, advanced taxonomy mapping & image processing. 

They are  seeking a highly autonomous and proactive Tech Lead to join our clients agile team. The Tech Lead role will be one of the first hires working directly with the  CTO, and involves developing and enhancing  the clients  platform through rapid implementation, testing, and iteration of new features.

Responsibilities:

·Lead the development of essential e-commerce features, integrating with major marketplace APIs like eBay, Shopify, and Etsy

·Build frontend and mobile applications using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Expo, while incorporating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for Retrieval-Augmented Generation

·Manage SST infrastructure, AWS services, and deploy on Vercel

·Design and optimise PostgreSQL databases using Prisma and ZenStack, implement Clerk authentication, and ensure robust security

·Develop and automate APIs using innovative approaches such as with Puppeteer, and reverse engineering APIs using Postman or DevTools

·Collaborate with the team on Slack, Jira, Notion, Figma, and Canva

Requirement:

·Experienced in e-commerce marketplace APIs, with frontend development skills in TypeScript, Next.js, React, and Expo, and a level of styling expertise using tools like Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui

·Proficient in AI integrations via ChatGPT / Claude APIs and skilled in infrastructure management with SST, AWS services, and Vercel

·Database design and optimisation using tools like PostgreSQL, Prisma and ZenStack

·Familiarity with frameworks like Clerk, Puppeteer, and Plasmo, and experienced in DevOps practices with GitHub, ESLint, pnpm, and Turborepo
