Role Overview:

We are recruiting a Business Development Manager with extensive experience in freight and transport sales to lead strategic growth efforts for a prominent logistics provider. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand the client base.
  • Build long-term relationships with corporate clients and key accounts.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value contracts in freight and transport services.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify market trends, emerging opportunities, and potential challenges.
  • Manage and mentor junior sales executives to achieve departmental goals.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in business development within the freight or transport sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of freight forwarding, transport logistics, and supply chain solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving significant revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex client relationships and deliver bespoke solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven sales strategies.
