Senior Account Manager
Location: Cambridge - 1 day a week
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + OTE

The Opportunity

Aztrum is working with a rapidly growing UK technology services provider that helps SMEs unlock the full potential of their business through bespoke digital solutions. This is a senior, high-impact role for an experienced Senior Account Manager who enjoys combining strategic account leadership with new business growth.

The Role

This is a dual-focus commercial role, responsible for:

  • Leading and growing a portfolio of large, strategic client accounts
  • Delivering new business revenue through proactive acquisition and pipeline development

You’ll work closely with senior commercial leadership and cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth, strong client retention and net-new logo wins, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders while maintaining a hands-on approach to sales execution.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Own and develop account strategies for key, high-value clients
  • Drive retention, cross-sell and up-sell opportunities

New Business & Growth

  • Proactively win new customers aligned to defined regions or verticals
  • Build and execute structured outbound prospecting plans
  • Qualify and convert inbound leads efficiently
  • Develop referral partnerships and regional networks
  • Consistently exceed monthly and annual revenue targets

Sales Execution & Collaboration

  • Run end-to-end sales cycles from discovery to close
  • Deliver outcome-led, consultative sales conversations
  • Collaborate with presales, solution architects and delivery teams

What They’re Looking For

  • Experience selling Cloud, Managed IT, Cyber Security, Data & AI, CRM or ERP
  • Proven success growing strategic accounts and winning new business
  • Strong consultative sales approach with senior-level stakeholders
  • Highly organised, self-driven and commercially astute
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
