Sound & Air Tester
Location: Home-based (London)
Salary: £23,000 - £32,000 + Vehicle Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

A leading building compliance and testing consultancy is seeking an experienced Sound Insulation Tester to join their growing testing division. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a respected, forward-thinking business known for its professional approach, supportive culture, and commitment to quality.

The Role

You’ll carry out sound insulation testing on residential and commercial developments in line with relevant Building Regulations. Working remotely from home, you’ll plan and manage your own workload, visiting sites across the M25 and Oxfordshire areas, with occasional visits to head office for meetings and training.

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Conducting pre-completion sound insulation tests on new build and conversion projects
• Undertake Air Tightness Testing in line with ATTMA regulations.
• Liaising with site teams and clients to deliver professional, reliable service
• Producing accurate test reports in accordance with regulatory standards
• Supporting the wider compliance team where needed

About You

We’re looking for a self-motivated and technically minded individual who enjoys a mix of site work and independent working.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience conducting sound insulation testing OR air tightness testing
• IOA / ANC / ATTMA registration (or working towards)
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Full UK driving licence
