We are currently looking for an experienced Senior SAP EWM Consultant to join a large organisation in Germany as part of an ongoing SAP S/4HANA transformation.
The position can be based from the organisation's Düsseldorf-area office in North Rhine-Westphalia or its Hamburg office, with hybrid working available.
The role will focus on the design, implementation and continued optimisation of warehouse and logistics processes within SAP S/4HANA EWM.
You will work closely with operational teams, business stakeholders and other SAP specialists to develop solutions across a complex logistics environment.
As a Senior SAP EWM Consultant, you will take responsibility for the functional development and optimisation of SAP EWM processes.
Key responsibilities will include:
Design, configure and optimise SAP S/4HANA EWM solutions
Analyse existing warehouse and logistics processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Configure processes across inbound, outbound, picking, inventory and internal warehouse movements
Translate operational requirements into effective SAP solutions
Support integration between EWM and the wider SAP logistics landscape
Work closely with SAP MM, SD, PP and other functional teams
Lead and participate in workshops with logistics and business stakeholders
Produce functional specifications and process documentation
Support testing, implementation and deployment activities
Contribute to cutover, go-live and post-implementation support
Troubleshoot functional issues and support continuous improvement of the EWM landscape
You will work alongside experienced SAP and operational teams, with the opportunity to influence solution design, process improvement and the long-term development of the organisation's SAP EWM landscape. We are looking for candidates with:
Strong professional experience with SAP EWM
Hands-on SAP EWM configuration experience
Good understanding of end-to-end warehouse and logistics processes
Experience working with SAP S/4HANA
Previous involvement in SAP EWM implementations, rollouts or transformation programmes
Good understanding of integration with other SAP logistics modules
Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex SAP solutions clearly to both technical and business teams
Professional German and English
You do not need to have experience across every area of SAP EWM. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong EWM foundation and hands-on functional experience within S/4HANA environments.
