A leading Managed IT Services Provider and Value-Added Reseller is looking to add an experienced Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to its growing team.

This business delivers end-to-end technology solutions to organisations across the UK, covering managed IT support, consultancy, VoIP, infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity. They are known for helping businesses improve efficiency, strengthen security, and achieve long-term operational success.

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships while acting as a trusted advisor across a broad portfolio of IT services.

You will work closely with existing clients to understand their business needs, recommend suitable technology solutions, and ensure a high level of ongoing support and service delivery.

This role also includes an element of new business development, where you will be expected to identify and win new clients. However, you will not be required to bring your own accounts or existing client base—full support, leads, and opportunities will be provided to help you grow your portfolio.

Working alongside internal technical teams, you will help deliver tailored solutions and play a key role in driving business growth through strategic account development and proactive client engagement.

What They’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in sales or account management within the IT sector (MSP experience preferred)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Good understanding of IT services including managed support, VoIP, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and infrastructure
  • A consultative and proactive approach with a genuine interest in helping clients succeed
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise workload effectively
  • Self-motivated, commercially aware, and target-driven
  • Comfortable with both account management and new business development
