An exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant to provide administrative, financial and property support within a private family office.
This is a varied and trusted role, combining diary management and personal assistance with financial administration, property management and coordination with external professional advisers.
The successful candidate will be commercially aware, financially confident and comfortable managing confidential information and multiple priorities with a high level of discretion.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Assistance
- Manage diaries, appointments, meetings and travel arrangements
- Arrange meetings, events and private functions
- Manage correspondence, documentation and confidential information
- Provide general administrative support and ensure effective systems are maintained
Financial Administration
- Manage payments, transfers, credit card statements and financial records
- Monitor expenditure and assist with regular spending reviews
- Liaise with accountants, tax advisers and other professional advisers
- Collate information for tax returns and assist with tax-related administration
- Support the administration of insurance policies and other financial matters
Property Management
- Assist with the management of a diverse property portfolio
- Manage tenancy agreements and liaise with agents, tenants and contractors
- Review contracts, service charges and property-related documentation
- Assist with property sales, acquisitions and associated administration
- Coordinate refurbishment and renovation projects, including budgets and schedules
- Liaise with councils, surveyors, solicitors, agents and other external professionals
- Support basic assessments relating to land values and development opportunities
Staff Administration
- Manage employment contracts, payroll, holidays and expenses
- Coordinate staff schedules and holiday cover
- Monitor overtime and staff-related costs
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, discreet and proactive, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Previous experience in PA, private office, property, finance or a similar environment would be advantageous. Strong communication skills, financial awareness and confidence dealing with external advisers are essential.
Location: Manchester & Cheshire
Travel: Some travel to London with occasional overseas travel
Salary: c£38,000 per annum
