Aztrum is pleased to be assisting a well-regarded and progressive architectural firm located in reading Reading whilst they continue the search for a Senior Architect to join their dedicated team.

Known for delivering thoughtful and imaginative design solutions within the supported living and care accommodation sector, the practice has built strong relationships with over 200 clients across the UK.

In this senior role, you will be instrumental in steering projects from initial concept through to final delivery, whilst guiding junior team members and collaborating closely with clients to maintain exceptional standards of design and execution.

Key Responsibilities for this Senior Project Architect role:

• Lead the design and delivery of supported living and care accommodation projects across the UK
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to achieve project objectives and regulatory compliance
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional design quality
• Provide leadership and mentorship to architectural staff, contributing to professional development within the practice
• Ensure adherence to planning, building regulations, and sector-specific standards

Requirements for this Senior Project Architect role:

• ARB registered with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience
• Demonstrable experience in the supported living, healthcare, or care accommodation sectors
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and inclusive design principles
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software
