My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy based with offices across the North of England, are searching for a Graduate Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their supportive team in Hull. You will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis.   

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an experienced design team who specialise in infrastructure, civil and structural engineering for public and private sector clients across the UK.  With a wide portfolio of projects you will have the chance to design flood risk, drainage and foul drainage solutions for Residential, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare and Education Sectors.  

As a Graduate Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant you will be required to complete varied technical work including; 

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3. 

-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS. 

-Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.

-Drainage, attenuation and sewerage design using infodrainage and causeway flow.   

-Access road design for developments. 

-Earthworks modelling. 

-Client meetings to discuss project progress.

It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Geography, Civil Engineering, Environmental Management or Hydrology and a keen interest in flood risk and drainage engineering.    

It is essential for applicants to reside locally as you will be required to work from the office 3 days a week.
