Energy Modelling Technician

Location: Bournemouth

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000

A multi-award winning engineering consultancy is seeking an eager and passionate Energy Modelling Technician to join their team in Bournemouth.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver cutting-edge, sustainable, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Conduct a range of modelling and analysis, which may include:
  • Building performance simulation
  • Operational energy assessments
  • Energy generation modelling
  • Overheating analysis

What we’re looking for:

• Education to A Level or equivalent (Level 3 qualification in progress or completed)
• GCSEs at Grade 5/6 or above in English, Maths, and Physics
• A passion for digital engineering and a willingness to learn software such as IES, Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD (2D/3D), and Revit
• Strong attention to detail
• A desire to build a long-term career in engineering
• Clear communication skills and an eagerness to learn
