Air Quality Consultant

Location: Remote - UK based
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

An established and well-regarded environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Air Quality Consultant to join its growing team. The firm specialises in environmental, acoustic, and planning services across a wide range of sectors, and offers a supportive, technically driven environment with strong opportunities for progression.

 Key Responsibilities

• Undertake air quality assessments for planning applications and environmental permits
• Carry out atmospheric dispersion modelling using tools such as ADMS or AERMOD
• Prepare high-quality technical reports for clients, planning authorities, and regulators
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to support project delivery
• Contribute to business development through proposal writing and client engagement
• Assist with mentoring junior staff and reviewing technical work

 Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Environmental Science, Atmospheric Chemistry, Geography, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in air quality consultancy or a related field
• Proficient in using dispersion modelling software (e.g. ADMS, AERMOD)
• Familiarity with UK air quality regulations and planning system
• Full UK driving licence preferred
