Job Summary:
Our Client is one of Australia’s leading payment gateways, specialising in the collection of payments for clients around Australia in industries such as Healthcare/Fitness, Childcare, Medical and many more and are looking for experienced Delivery Lead who would love to join an exciting and growing team.
This is a leadership position focused on implementing Agile practices, ensuring cross-departmental collaboration, and driving strategic delivery excellence. The Senior Delivery Lead will play a pivotal role in driving process improvements, ensuring high-quality delivery, and helping the organisation transition from its current Kanban framework to Agile Scrum practices.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
·Lead planning and execution across multiple teams, ensuring alignment between engineering, product, operations, legal, compliance, and other departments.
·Act as the primary point of contact for coordinating efforts across all departments, ensuring smooth communication and alignment on project goals, timelines, and priorities.
·Collaborate with senior leadership (CEO, Head of Operations, Projects and Engineering) to define key business objectives and ensure project goals align with the overall company strategy.
·Manage cross-functional teams and ensure stakeholders from different departments legal, compliance, product, etc.) are actively involved and engaged in the delivery process.
Delivery Management & Execution
·Oversee and drive the execution of multiple high-priority projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery within scope, budget, and quality parameters.
·Lead the implementation of Agile Scrum practices within the organisation, transitioning from the current Kanban process and enhance operation Ways of Working.
·Ensure proper planning, resourcing, and risk management for all ongoing and upcoming projects, balancing both new system integrations and maintenance of legacy systems.
·Facilitate key Agile ceremonies (e.g., increments planning, Scrum of Scrums, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, refinement, retrospectives) to ensure organisation and teams remain on track and goals are met.
·Establish and monitor KPIs for project success, track progress, and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders through portfolio governance.
Collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and Other Departments
·Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all projects comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
·Ensure that all technical and product releases meet security, compliance, and risk management standards.
·Facilitate ongoing communication between product teams and other departments (e.g., legal, compliance) to avoid roadblocks and ensure smooth project execution.
·Lead cross-functional workshops and meetings to resolve any interdepartmental dependencies or bottlenecks.
Process Improvement & Change Management
·Lead continuous improvement initiatives by assessing and refining delivery processes, focusing on enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving team collaboration.
·Implement and enforce best practices for project delivery including strong testing protocols, automation (e.g., CI/CD), and change management processes.
·Drive the adoption of tools and platforms to enhance project tracking, reporting, and communication across departments.
·Help the organisation transition from Kanban to Scrum to better align with business objectives and improve project visibility.
Resource Management & Team Leadership
·Collaborate with department heads to identify resource needs and allocate resources effectively across projects.
·Mentor and guide project managers, product owners, and other delivery team members to enhance their delivery capabilities and career growth.
·Ensure that teams are properly resourced and supported, providing leadership and direction when needed.
