We have an excellent new opportunity for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join a fantastic organization in Theale, Reading on a Hybrid basis.

This is a new role responsible for supporting the Head of FP&A in all aspects of financial planning and analysis, forecasting, and reporting. You will be dealing with senior financial and non-financial stakeholders in key regions across Europe and will be responsible for developing and improving current systems and processes, providing accurate and timely information to enable to stakeholders to understand performance and drivers to assist in their decision-making process.

Role Responsibilities:
Management Reporting

  • Review the monthly consolidation of Sales Unit (SU) P&Ls, understanding forecast and budget variances
  • Compile the monthly Management Reporting pack for Senior Management, incorporating insightful commentary and collating information from key stakeholders.
  • Preparation of Management presentations

Financial Analysis

  • Understand the key profit drivers of the business
  • Analyse Gross Margin/Marginal Profits and compile reports for Senior Management
  • Analyse Contribution Margin/Operating Profits and compile reports for Senior Management
  • Perform regular and ad hoc financial analysis on Sales, OPEX, Inventory, Profitability and Balance Sheet metrics.

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Lead Forecasting and Budgeting processes, building a model and holding meetings with relevant regional stakeholders, consolidating SU budgets and producing inciteful analysis for management.
  • Develop a European Cashflow forecast Model. 

Systems and processes

  • Develop systems as appropriate to assist with accurate and timely reporting
  • Constantly seek improvement in processes and reports.

Adhoc

  • As this is a new role the brief will evolve and there will be changing responsibilities and significant ad-hoc tasks

Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA etc – Essential. 1st time passes preferable • 
  • Strong/advanced Excel and modelling skills – Essential 
  • Good Academics 
  • Experience in running projects autonomously 
  • Confident engaging with multiple senior Finance and Non-Finance stakeholders 
  • Track record of improving processes 
  • Multi-currency experience 
  • Experience of working with multiple entity “Group” situations 
  • Experience of working in a changing environment 
  • Confident to report information concisely to senior management 
  • Must have budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Ideally you will have experience of leading a process
  • Suitably qualified with experience of detailed analysis around variances and KGI metrics
  • Experienced in dealing with sensitive information
  • You will need to be flexible with hours to accommodate the global nature of the role – there will be calls with regions around the world, including but not limited to Japan and USA (West Coast). In return the company will offer flexibility to ensure a good work life/home life balance


Salary

  • £50,000 - £60,000 Depending on experience
