Senior Architect – Slough

Aztrum is delighted to be supporting a well-established, forward-thinking architectural practice in their search for a Senior Architect to join their specialist team in Slough.

With a reputation as the partner of choice for over 200 clients across the UK, this practice is recognised for delivering innovative, compassionate design solutions within the supported living and care accommodation sector.

As a Senior Architect, you will take a pivotal role in leading projects from concept to completion, while also mentoring junior team members and engaging directly with clients to ensure the highest standards of design integrity and delivery.

Key Responsibilities for this Senior Architect role: 

• Lead the design and delivery of supported living and care accommodation projects across the UK
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to achieve project objectives and regulatory compliance
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional design quality
• Provide leadership and mentorship to architectural staff, contributing to professional development within the practice
• Ensure adherence to planning, building regulations, and sector-specific standards

Requirements for this Senior Architect role: 

• ARB registered with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience
• Demonstrable experience in the supported living, healthcare, or care accommodation sectors
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and inclusive design principles
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software
