About the Role

This role will apply business analysis disciplines and business focus to improve the outcomes of the new program by our client. This will involve working with teams and colleagues from our client and their partners of varying knowledge and experience, stakeholders, funders, and colleagues at all levels.

Success in this role will require strong business analysis skills, excellent communication underpinned by effective working relationships, an appreciation of the importance of the data lifecycle in the required sector, and a good track record of supporting business change.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Scrum Teams and the wider business and stakeholders to determine and refine business, systems, data, and technology requirements.
  • Analyse and document “as is” end to end business processes and systems usage and develop “to be” processes and systems to improve business performance and reduce cost.
  • Define and document change requirements conducting detailed analysis to produce business requirement documentation, operational specifications, user stories and product backlog items.
  • Design, specify and produce detailed output documentation (e.g., process diagrams and reports).
  • Organise and run workshops, walk-throughs, and reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, contribute to business cases and perform impact analysis on business change requests.
  • Support the Implementation process including training materials, procedural manuals, and user guides.
  • Build and maintain positive professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partnering with Solution Architects and Product Owners to develop innovative solutions to meet business requirements, bringing a business focused end to end perspective to ensure coherent, cost effective solutions
  • Work as part of the Scrum Team/s to document the system and business process being delivered as part of the user stories.
  • Partner with technical teams in developing testing plans and materials for changes ensuring that testing covers all business requirements.
  • Undertake options analyses and presentation of cost/benefit/risk trade-offs.


Essential

  • Excellent rapport and relationship skills, building trust and communicating with clarity, with a broad range of influencing skills underpinned by listening, eliciting contributions from the team and taking them with you.
  • Heavy exposure to and experience of process re-engineering and end-to-end process improvement projects.
  • Experience working on agile/scrum transformation projects.
  • Able to communicate and collaborate at all levels and to present issues in a clear and concise manner, via the most appropriate media.
  • Facilitating teams to solve technical challenges, in particular where these involve negotiation between business or technical stakeholders'.
  • Able to produce accurate and well-presented reports, spreadsheets, and process analysis.
  • Demonstrate well-developed team working skills. Will be required to work in teams including representatives from the 3rd parties.
  • Demonstrate sound systems analysis techniques and well-developed skills in the use of appropriate techniques, methodologies, and packages. 
  • Pro-active, self-starter with strong delivery focus and attention to detail
  • Adaptable and able to respond to the changing landscape for the sector you work. 


Benefits:

The salary range for this post is between £40,000 to £50,000 dependant on skills and experience. We offer an attractive package with initially 25 days leave, increasing to 30 days, plus bank holidays and extra Agency shutdown at Christmas; holiday buys/sell scheme, flexible working including remote and home working options; pension scheme and occupational health support.
