Graduate Structural Engineer (1–3 Years’ Experience)

We are working with a well-established and highly respected multidisciplinary engineering consultancy to recruit a Graduate Structural Engineer for their Derby office.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of structural elements in steel, concrete, timber and masonry
• Produce calculations, technical reports and design documentation
• Support project delivery from feasibility through to construction
• Use engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit and structural design tools (e.g. TEDDS or similar)
• Attend site visits, client meetings and design workshops with senior engineers
• Collaborate with internal teams and external project stakeholders
• Actively work toward professional development and Chartership

About You

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 1–3 years’ experience within a structural consultancy environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good technical understanding and willingness to learn
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/Revit and structural software desirable
• Ambitious, proactive and keen to develop a long-term consultancy career
• Working toward ICE or IStructE Chartership (or keen to start)
