My Client, a market leading Building Services Design Consultancy, is searching for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team near Ilkley, Leeds.  

This innovative consultancy specialise in sustainability, mechanical, electrical and building services designs for varied commercial, residential, pharmaceutical and leisure development projects across the region.     

You will be required to work from the office 3/4 days per week.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role in managing individual projects, mentoring team members if needed, and delivering diverse projects, from concept through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality electrical designs for a variety of projects for stadiums, laboratories, commercial and residential sectors.
• Engaging in all stages of the project lifecycle and liaise with multidisciplinary teams.  
• Producing technical drawings and calculations for electrical systems and lighting using Dialux, Relux, Amtech and AutoCAD.     
• Contributing to sustainable design solutions and low-carbon strategies.  
• Supporting site installations and ensuring design compliance.
• You will be required to work from the Manchester office, on occasion. 

As an Electrical Engineer, you are required to have a strong academic background in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering and experience working for UK based Consultancy completing electrical designs using Dialux, Relux and/or Amtech.

Whilst this opportunity offers flexible working, you will be required to work from the office three to four days a week.  You will also be required to have a valid driving licence to attend site visits across the area.
