Security Solutions Architect
Location: Oxford (2 days a week)
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 + bonus

The Opportunity

They are now looking to appoint a Security Solutions Architect to join a high-performing Solutions Engineering team. Reporting directly into senior leadership, this is a client-facing, pre-sales focused role where you’ll play a critical part in supporting customers and the sales function by designing, articulating, and validating robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver both chargeable and non-chargeable technical pre-sales services to new and existing customers
• Build trusted technical relationships with prospects and clients
• Provide customer-facing technical expertise during sales meetings, discovery sessions, and opportunity qualification
• Deliver engaging product presentations, demonstrations, and support customer-facing events and webinars
• Design and deliver bespoke demonstrations and Proofs of Concept (POCs)
• Evaluate and compare competing technologies to recommend optimal solutions
• Contribute to solution specifications, proposals, scopes of work, and tender responses

Skills & Experience

• Background in technical consultancy, pre-sales, or customer-facing delivery within an MSP or IT reseller (essential)
• Broad experience across IT infrastructure and managed services technologies
• Strong proposal and tender writing capability
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, Sophos, Microsoft, N-able, Mimecast, Barracuda, or similar) desirable
• UK-based and willing to travel as required
• Full, clean UK driving licence
