Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services

Location: Kent - Hybrid

Salary: £45,000 - £63,000 + DOE 

An established building services consultancy is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their dynamic team, working on a range of exciting residential and mixed-use developments across the South East.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design on various building services projects
• Produce detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, sustainability, and structural teams to deliver coordinated designs
• Oversee and mentor junior engineers and technicians
• Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure technical excellence and smooth project delivery
• Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies

What we’re looking for:

• Degree-qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Proven track record in electrical design for residential and mixed-use developments
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, and Dialux/Relux
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Chartered or working toward Chartered Engineer status (IET or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of sustainability principles and low-carbon design
