Our client is a well-established and growing multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with an excellent reputation for delivering structural engineering, quantity surveying, building surveying and party wall services across the residential and commercial sectors.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a talented Structural Engineer with 3–5 years’ UK consultancy experience to join their collaborative and ambitious team.

The Opportunity

You will work on a varied portfolio of projects including high-end residential homes, refurbishments, extensions, basements, new build developments and commercial schemes. You’ll gain exposure to all stages of the design process while working closely with senior engineers, architects, developers and private clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structural engineering designs for a range of building projects
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings and technical reports
• Design in steel, concrete, timber and masonry
• Attend site inspections and client meetings
• Liaise with architects, contractors and other consultants
• Support project delivery from concept through to completion
• Ensure designs comply with current UK regulations and standards
• Work collaboratively with senior staff and wider internal teams

About You

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 3–5 years’ experience within a UK consultancy environment
• Experience working on building structures projects
• Good understanding of British Standards / Eurocodes
• Proficient in structural design software
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ambitious, proactive and keen to progress professionally
