Account Executive - New Business

Remote – attendance at client meetings, typically in London would be required.

£45,000 - £60,000  OTE £70,000 - £90,000

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an innovative tech client who operates within the Political and Public Policy sector. They have been experiencing excellent growth since their inception and now requires the support of an additional Account Executive, to grow and develop new business across the U.K. This role would suit a candidate with a passion for sales and an interest in politics and public policy although this is not mandatory.  We are looking for someone who is a natural closer, with tremendous relationship building skills and a desire to sell.

Your Responsibilities 

• Work towards hitting or exceeding revenue goals on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Build a pipeline of new business, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities
• Educate yourself on becoming an expert on our clients products, conduct discovery calls, presentations, and demos with prospects
• Maintain and develop relationships with prospects and accounts 
• Demonstrate and sell value to key stakeholders
• Track all activity and opportunities, purchase time frames, next call to actions, forecasting, etc on to the CRM

Your Skills and Experience 

• A history of successful lead generation and closing deals is essential
• Hunter attitude, consistently focused on meeting and exceeding targets
• Demonstrable experience in selling SAAS solutions
• Proven record of overachieving targets & sourcing new business for a SAAS product
• Excellent communication skills/presentation skills and the ability to build relationships
• An interest in politics and public policy would be desirable but not essential
