A growing civil engineering consultancy based in Liverpool is looking to recruit a Graduate Civil Engineer to join its dynamic and close-knit team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to kickstart their career in a supportive, energetic environment, working alongside experienced engineers on a variety of projects across the built environment.

The Role

You will support the civil engineering team in the design and coordination of infrastructure schemes, gaining hands-on experience across drainage, highways, and general infrastructure. The role offers excellent exposure to all stages of project development, with guidance and mentorship from senior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of roads, drainage, and infrastructure for residential and commercial developments
• Support the preparation and coordination of planning and technical approval submissions
• Produce civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD (Site 3D & PDS desirable)
• Work collaboratively with engineers and technicians on live projects
• Attend meetings and assist with project coordination
• Develop your technical skills and understanding of industry standards

Requirements

• Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
• Strong interest in civil engineering design
• Previous placement or consultancy experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Familiarity with AutoCAD (Civils 3D / Site 3D / PDS desirable)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Eagerness to learn and develop within a consultancy environment
