Senior Structural Engineer

An established and highly respected UK structural engineering consultancy based in Bracknell is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, refurbishment, and mixed-use developments, delivering practical, efficient, and buildable design solutions across a wide range of projects.

The Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will:

• Lead and deliver structural design on a variety of building projects
• Manage projects from concept through to construction
• Produce and review detailed structural calculations and drawings
• Liaise directly with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers
• Contribute to value engineering and practical design solutions
• Attend design and site meetings as required

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
• Chartered status (ICE or IStructE) or working towards chartership
• Strong UK consultancy experience (typically 5+ years)
• Experience in steel, concrete, masonry, and ideally refurbishment projects
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and UK Building Regulations
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
