Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

We’re working with a highly regarded civil, structural and environmental engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer to join its growing team. With an established reputation across the East of England, this business delivers tailored, cost-effective engineering solutions on projects ranging from bespoke domestic schemes to major commercial developments.

The Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of projects from concept through to construction. You’ll work closely with senior leadership while managing your own schemes, developing client relationships and mentoring junior engineers.

This is an ideal move for someone who wants to bridge the gap between senior engineer and associate-level responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural design on a range of building projects
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings and technical reports
• Manage projects through all design stages to completion
• Liaise directly with architects, contractors, developers and clients
• Attend design meetings and site inspections
• Deliver practical, buildable and commercially aware engineering solutions
• Mentor graduate and intermediate engineers
• Work toward and achieve Chartership with full support

About You

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Strong consultancy background in structural engineering design
• Confident designing in steel, concrete, timber and masonry
• Experience managing projects and client communication
• Comfortable using structural design software and AutoCAD/Revit
• Currently working toward Chartership and close to professional review
• Ambitious, proactive and eager to progress your career
