We're looking for a warm, resilient, and compassionate Family Support Worker to join a dedicated team in Liverpool, working directly with children, young people,e and families across Early Intervention, Respite, Family Time, Mothers & Babies, and Emergency Support.
This is a hands-on, community-based role for someone who genuinely wants to make a difference in family life, one visit at a time.
Contributing to children's and young people's care plans and risk assessments, including their review and implementation
Travelling to and working within family homes, hospitals and various community settings, delivering the highest standard of support across Early Intervention, Respite, Family Time, Mothers & Babies, and Emergency Support
Taking individual responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of everyone you support and come into contact with
Building effective, trusting relationships with young people, their families and external agencies
Providing advice, assistance and support on a 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1 basis to children, young people and families
Liaising with families ahead of support sessions to confirm plans, arrival times, and session activities
Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared aims and objectives
Promoting a positive, supportive team environment, sharing knowledge and experience to achieve the best possible outcomes
Actively contributing to the ongoing development of the team
Maintaining accurate records and sharing information appropriately to support effective communication
Experience working with children, young people and families (essential)
Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (desirable)
A genuine passion for nurturing and supporting young people
Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends
A full, valid driving licence (essential)
