An established and highly regarded Building Services consultancy is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join its growing team in West Sussex.

This is a great opportunity for an Electrical Engineer who wants variety, technical challenge and genuine career development, working across an exciting mix of projects within the commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and specialist sectors.

The Role

You’ll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to construction and completion, working closely with experienced engineers and clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Electrical building services design and calculations
• Producing detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD/CAD
• Lighting design and calculations using DIALux
• Developing specifications and technical documentation
• Working across commercial, industrial, healthcare and other specialist projects
• Liaising with clients, contractors and wider design teams
• Supporting projects from concept through to completion

About You

We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer with:

• 1–5 years’ experience in Building Services
• A relevant engineering degree or equivalent
• Experience with AutoCAD/CAD
• Experience using DIALux or similar lighting software
• Good knowledge of electrical design, calculations and relevant standards
• A desire to develop technically and work towards Chartership
