This exciting Senior Drainage Engineering opportunity will offer you the chance to complete varied residential, bespoke builds, extensions, commercial, mixed-use developments across Scotland.  

You will join an experienced team based in Edinburgh to manage multiple projects from pre planning to construction phases for both Private and Public Sector Clients.  

As a Senior Drainage Engineer you will be expected to complete; 

Flood Risk Assessments.

Transport Assessments.

Surface Water Management Plans.

Drainage Strategies. 

Drainage Design for mixed use developments using Site3D. 

Detailed designs for residential developments in respect of S278, S38, S104 and S106. 

Access road design for developments.  

Project management of multiple projects. 

Liaise with Clients to discuss project development and design clashes. 

Develop new business opportunities with new and existing Clients.

As a Senior Drainage Engineer you are required to have a background in hydrology or civil engineering and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk assessments and drainage designs for residential, commercial and industrial developments including access roads and highway drainage. 

Experience completing transport assessments is also beneficial.  

Applicants are required to have the confidence to work autonomously and eventually grow a team.  You will be required to liaise with Clients and manage multiple projects at varied design phases.
